Stock 3.27s in built rear?
Hey guys tryin to get my plan together for when i beef up the drivtrain to allow for more boost.
Do you think that stock 3.27s will hold up in a built rear end w/ 31 splines? Or should i get an aftermarket set of gears (3.27s or 3.55s). Just asking because i have my stockers in my garage and if i could save from buying a set that would just be more $$ in my pocket!

I didn't know if they were made with different materials or not...lol figured id ask.
And my stockers have about 90k on em so i didn't know if that would have an effect on the life of them in a built rear w/ 600 hp runnin through em.

I think with a turbo there might be a bigger difference than you think. Turbos love load and 3.27s would load the turbo more. If one could tell a difference N/A between 3.27 and 3.55 I would think the difference would be even more noticeable with a turbo.
