ok so i have a 97 mustang gt i am putting a 03 2v gt motor in it i just bought a tremec t45 will this work with my 03 motor? i read somewhere if its for a cobra the mount point is pushed back and the production run was 96-01 so did i just **** myself?

 

the t45 will bolt to all 4.6s with the exception of transverse mounted cars, cobra t45s had a different tail shaft which may require a different trans mount or relocation of the cross member

 

ok cool the person i actully bought it from was saying the same thing last night after i poset this i got the trans for a grand 26 spline shaft fiber syncros cryoed gears its really nice

 

You will need a new clutch for 26 spline.

 

yeah just the disk tho now if this is a cobra trans i know i need a new cross memebr but what about speedo gear? arnt they seven tooth?
