I think last year myself and JayC were the only Nitrous cars who posted anything.

I also think a lot of people don't post because they are too scared to post times that aren't the fastest... WHO CARES ITS FUN NO MATTER WHAT TIME YOU RUN!!!

Anyway I hope to have some N/A slips this coming Saturday as we have gotten screwed by the weather the last 2 weekends.

I've been posting in the timeslip threads since the first year racing when i was going 14.1's. What i really dont get is seeing threads about guys hitting the track and running 12s with bolt on cars and that slip never ends up on the board.

I was lookin at last years thread, were you having trouble with your nitrous setup jay? I was about 1.5 mph behind you at the 1/8th and 1.5 ahead by the stripe. I think if you get the grip you could do better than that na if you get the right air.

I just went to the track on Sunday and ran 12.8 NA and 11.74 on nitrous, so JAY-ROD is right about where I am.

Well I think a couple things are against me. The biggest factor this is KS... I never got any Fall passes as I toasted the diff clutches, my best runs both N/A and Nitrous was 90 degrees and 50% humidity and we are already at like 1,300 feet altitude. Secondly all the "big" racers around here tell me, (and was verified with multiple time slips) that the better the 60' the slower the mph. If I spun a bit and didn't have the greatest 60' mph would pick up 1.5-2mph. On a great personal best 1.64 60' mph was down a bit but best ET.

My car 60's way better than the ET it "should" run but it is what it is and it is just hard to make optimal power in KS. Perfect days happen like twice a year and I didn't catch those last year. MPH is the ultimate judge of what kind of power you are making.

Also the wind is always blowing in KS period, just a matter of how hard and that makes a BIG difference in MPH. One night I was bracket racing and running N/A and was at 13.51-13.54 consistently, a cold front came in and the wind switched from 15-20 out of the south to 20-25 out of the north. Despite the rapid temp drop I consistently dropped to 13.70 and lost about 4 mph...
