I wouldnt say that, you definitely need somebody that can handle the wheel when i comes to the small tire classes, but yea, you definitely need the money to keep up with chassis and suspension and your engine programs. I cant believe what these guys are running on 275s now.

I saw a few guys in X275 at "The Night The Lights Went Out" at SGMP a few weeks ago get low low in the 5's 1/8th. You're absolutely right it is nuts what guys are doing now on small tires.

Our local track is doing an "Outlaw", X275, and "True Radial" series this season and it should be interesting. Of course I am not running any of these as my turtle can't even come close to competing even in the true radial. There will be a few guys in the 9's on a true 30,000 mile radial that must fit in the factory wheel wells.

Jay, i think you may have seen the ultra street class at lights out, its made as a step down from x275. They had a ton of guys going 4.80s and a few in the .70s in x, as well as Bruder blowing the record apart with a 4.65.
