Default Intake Manifold

Well after the inlet blew in half going into the Heater core... I was forced to get a new P/I Manifold.


Piece that broke.....

Taking Intake off...very dirty..



Cleaned up...



Here is P/I intake compared to Stock



I will finish tomorrow... Will update more pics later.

Unless FRPP has changed things that is not an FRPP manifold?

This is from FRPP's latest catalog:



It looks like a Dorman manifold, it may be too late however my advice is bring it back and get the FRPP part...

I wonder if the open spaces in the intake manifold would act like the old style "air gap" manifolds and cool the air coming through the intake?
