Default Kerns Build Thread

This build is going to hopefully come together over the next 30-40 days so I will be updating this thread periodically with new stuff. As most of you know my motor went goodbye due to my oil feed line getting snagged and causing my engine to seize up from being oil starved. Anyway, so currently the car is down and on jack stands in the garage. I have decided that while the car is down I am going to go ahead and do a lot of things I had planned on doing slowly over the next year or 2 and instead just do them ASAP.

The build is going to consist of a 4.6L Teksid Aluminum block, forged crank shaft, forged rods and pistons at 9.5:1 compression ratio and valve reliefs in the pistons. I'll be putting everything together using ARP2000 Head studs, ARP Main Studs, ARP Side Bolts, and a Billet oil pump. For the top end I will use Houston Performance S292 Cams in Stage 2 Patriot Performance heads with bronze valve guides, titanium retainers, upgraded springs, and .5mm oversized valves. I'll be using an Edelbrock Victor Jr. Intake with a 6061.com Plenum and an Accufab 75mm Throttle body. I'm upgrading my injectors to 80lbs, using them with the Edelbrock fuel rails, and switching to a return style fuel system. I'll be going with a sumped MMR tank with Earl's Push lock hose and fittings and an Aeromotive A1000 pump.

For my transmission I'll be pulling the TR3650 with Spec 2+ clutch and instead will be going with a T56 with a steel 3-4 shift fork, billet steel TOB retainer, 26 spline input shaft, and a dual clutch either McLeod or Centerforce.

For the power adder I'll be going with an On3 Forward Facing Turbo system. I have yet to decide which turbo I will be going with, but my goal is to hit 700+ on E85 and have around 550-600 on 91 octane.

Over the next month or so I'll be getting everything else, but I currently have the following:
Patriot Stage 2 Heads
S292 Cams
Edelbrock Victor Jr. Intake
Accufab 75mm Throttle Body
Edelbrock Fuel Rails
6061.com Plenum
Teksid Block
Forged Crankshaft
ARP2000 Head Studs
ARP Main Studs
ARP Side Bolts
Aeromotive A1000 Fuel Pump
MMR Sumped Fuel Tank
Upgraded T56 Transmission and MGW Shifter
UPR Tubular K-Member
UPR Tubular A-Arms
Donathen Racing Tubular Bumper Support

Things I still need:
Melling Billet Oil Pump
Gaskets
On3 FF Turbo Kit
Clutch
Fuel Lines and Fittings
Rods/Pistons (Money Set aside, just need to get block machined so I know what size to get)
Rod and Main Bearings
80lb Injectors

Bought it from a guy in Dallas who is just finishing up his 5.0L Boss Engine with 10.7:1 compression and a Vortech 3.3L Lysholm supercharger... On low boost he is hitting 800rwhp (14psi and 16 degrees of timing on E85). His car is an absolute monster so he decided to go with a Magnum T56 for safety. The guy is absolutely meticulous. Here is a picture of his engine
