I'm trying to remove my passenger valve cover on a 2002 gt. how the hell can I take out the last 2 bolts on the bottom left side towards the back of the head. It seems impossible to get to those screws. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

 

have you tried a u-joint?

 

I got the 2 bolts out and the valve cover off what else do I need to do to get the passenger head off?

 

why are you taking your heads off again?

 

Ticking noise on the passenger head head is read to come off all I need is 3 front bolts. My question is can the head be removed while its still in the car?

 

It can be removed, but you have a bunch of more work than just the valve cover.

You'll have to take off the intake, P/S pump, h-pipe, crank pulley, timing cover, timing chains. Then you can unbolt the head and lift it out.
