Default Weight reduction suspension

Making an entire list to drop some pounds in the cobra need to know the following

- How much does the cobra 2001 weigh gross
- Stock coil over weight vs tokico shocks and h&r spring weight?

I currently have tokico shocks so I want to figure where I'm currently at with weight

Just springs and shocks... you might drop around 7lbs per corner by going coil-overs.
You can also drop some weight from the control arms if you go tubular with coil-overs.

Depending upon your budget, it may not really be worth the expense for the weight reduction alone. I am a huge believer in weight being the enemy, but every budget has a point of practicality.

Are you planning to go with a tubular K-member?

So you're going to spend $1000 to drop 350lbs...?

Unless you have every bolt on and cams that's just stupid. Spending all that money to drop maybe .3 at the track is worthless and something you won't even feel a difference from.

You'd pay that for cams by the time you installed them and get tuned and prolly pick up the same if not less. OP, i dont kmow what parts you have on your list, but just keep in mind to try and evenly distribute the weight your taking out. Dont just do a seat delete and gut the trunk, you need to get some weight off the nose as well, and keep skme on the rear for traction.

Dropping that much weight will help with mpg's as well but then more rattles and creaks will become apparent. Pick n choose your poison.
