Weight reduction suspension

^^^^To each his own my friend.
We all have different goals for our cars, and weight is the enemy of anything performance related. Less weight stops, turns and accelerates better.
As mentioned above, many guys have spent more than $1000 for less than 0.3 off their ET.
I'm slightly skeptical about losing 350lbs for $1000, but I'm sure he could get 250+. That is unless he plans to remove stuff like AC.

I'll be removing the ac, only because i have a truck to drive around everyday now instead of the mustang. And once again that comes to ballast. You dont want to tear all the weight out of the rear of the car and have everything sitting in the front still.

Guys calm down 1k was just a quote for buying everything brand new here's the list with research as well.
Spare tire - 26.4
Jack and crow bar - 6.6
Trunk pad - 6.0
Mott bar under diff - 7.8
Rear seat delete - 47.2
Longtube vs stock -10
Odesy battery - 22.2
Upr k member - 65.00
Front passenger - 43.0
Driver seat - 48.0
Ac delete - 30.0
Magnaflow xpipe - 22.4
Upr a arms - 4.5
Tokico shocks - 7.0
Should equal around 379.1 from my adding.
Now include the following rear seat delete kit + 10.0
Driver side racing seat +10.0
Passenger seat + 10.00
If I got most of this stuff used it would be less than 1k and the seats would be cheap knock offs to do the job compared to sparco

Also add in -40 lbs found some rims that are 10lbs minus stock after doing the math your total weight dropped is 386.1 add in your 30 lbs gives you 356.1 total weight off your car making my cobra weigh a grand total of 3104 lbs
