ah my bad, i just remember hearing one of your kill stories in s&s where you said you spun from a higher roll. I know tony said his car hooked in first without warming up tires so it should do nicely on the street even from a dig.

what type of wheel/tire setup are you running?

I bet Kernsies car tuned down to 12psi could still take Tc's car at 26psi....

I will still spin at a roll on occasion. On that run it was because 1) It was like 45* outside 2) I was on non warmed up Nitto 315 555R's 3) In that weather I was hitting 26psi (which is almost 900tq and 820rwhp). I am running Tokico Spec D's all the way around, Maximum motorsports CC plates, UPR Coilovers up front with 14" 175lb springs, front sway bar removed, maximum motorsports upper and lower control arms, cut stock springs, and Nitto 555R Drag Radials. Wheels are 17x10.5 FR500's out back, 17x9's up front. Thinking about switching to the Toyo 888's though.

I hear good things about the 888's. however I've heard they're just similar to the 555r's in about every way so i dont know if you'd notice any difference.

From a roll I agree. not at 12psi but 20 or more yeah. From a dig it's going to be hard for a manual/555r car to compete against an auto/big n little et street car even with 100 more hp.
