Yeah, Im hoping for some good numbers! I chose nitrous for the torque gains... the hit, and because I'll be less tempted to use it when just cruising... Kind of a way to stay out of some trouble maybe. I just wanted to I guess. Well, everything but the starter bolts, and the top trans bolts is undone, Need to drain the coolant, and she'll be ready to come out. Than I'll break the motor down and get it to a machine shop. When the motor comes out, I'll upload the pics.

Well guys, got the motor out, and torn down to the short block! I have a few pictures uploaded, and will get the rest of them later today. Motor came out smoothly, and so did the tear down thus far. Cylinders still have crosshatching all the way to the top, and everything looked good! I will be sending the block off to B&B machine here locally to be tanked, magnafluxed, and measured, it only had 72K on the meter before tear down, so I'm hoping for the best!

I'm not too sure when it'll be complete. Im hoping to have the shortblock done by early october, and the long block in the car by the end of november. The rest of the shortblock should be dissassembled and off to the machine shop by mid next week.

Scott, if you need an engine stand when you go to do your build, your more than welcome to use mine Hoping mine will be done right when you start yours.

Made some more progress this weekend, Got the shortblock torn down, and will be dropping it off at the machine shop tomorrow after work.

Had to clean up and organize a bit after getting the top end off.

Thumbs up!

Well, time for another update. Sent the block off to the machine shop, they had it for about 2 weeks, cleaned it up, magnafluxed it, and measured it. Everything checked out great, so all they did was hone it. I ordered basically everything I need to build a "shortblock" Pistons, piston rings, wrist pins, rods, rod bolts, main cap bolts, side bolts, main bearings and rod bearings. I am having the pistons cut for valve reliefs as well. All Hardware is ARP, and all bearings are CLEVITE. Now I just need to order my oil pump, timing chain guides, cams, valve springs, cam gears, etc.. I'm expecting to see all my bottom end stuff next week.
