tokico illuminas vs bilstein HD vs koni yellow .... what to go with?
Right now my car has Strange Engineering 10-way adjustable struts and QA1 adjustable shocks with H&R SS springs and subframe connectors. The ride is great on smooth pavement and the handling is good, however with living in downtown Toronto, the streets are an absolute nightmare.
I am looking at changing my struts/shocks in hopes of a more forgiving ride, and perhaps even better handling.
I am considering Tokico Illuminas (adjustable), Bilstein HDs (not adjustable) or Koni Yellows (adjustable), with prices being lowest to highest respectively.
Which would you chose and why? Is it worth me switching my strange engineering/qa1 combo for any of these? I would really like to experience a night-and-day difference on these harsh streets, but something tells me I wont.

I am running Bilsteins with my H&R SS and love them. I did a ton of research and ended up getting the Bilsteins. The ride is so much better then stock. I had my father in law in the car over the weekend for the first time and the first thing out of his mouth was how smooth the ride was and he had no idea it was lowered.

STAY AWAY FROM THE ILLUMINAS.. They are very drag oriented, I've talked to a few people who have them with H&Rs, and they say they bottom quite often, and that they are just not what they wanted... I personally have H&R SS springs with the Tokico D-Specs. Car rides nicely, and they are adjustable. I prefer it on the stiffer side. However, If you have the cash, After riding in Scooter's car if I were to do it over, I'd pony the cash for some Bilsteins.
