Turbo > centri

Matching the right power adder to the application > saying one type is better than another for everyone.

First gen kit is a cheap knock off of a hellion kit. The newest generation kit with forward facing headers actually isn't a terrible kit from what I read. Its true that you need all that stuff on top of the kit, but if I'm not mistaken, the turbo kit comes with the fuel and maf that you need. Just have to get the tubular front suspension. Also, I wouldn't go with the standard turbo. I'd try to get a nice turbo because cheap out on the most essential component on the system and watch it fail. Precision turbos are where its at with their new Billet Wheel CEA turbos. Nice pieces those are. My plans are to try this kit out within the next year and a half, with a precision 6765 or 6768 turbo on 6psi.

Hot side piping quality is garbage even onthe gen 2 kits.

The deals are out there, agreed. But I have to disagree with the Celtics winning game 7

The kit doesn't come with fuel or MAF. That's extra.

The headers aren't the best quality but then again you can't expect that from a $2100 complete turbo kit. It's thin 16 gauge headers. The quality headers are typically 14. While the 14 is thicker and will last longer I don't see the On3 headers rotting away after anytime soon.

IIRC MAC headers, which most people really like and have good success with, are also 16 gauge tubing.

I wouldn't be afraid of their 2nd gen kit. I'd rather go On3 than a centri blower.

This, the 2nd gen front facing kit is 100x better....its 2100 bucks, then you end up spending like 700 on the k member and front suspension, then maf, tune, pump, etc

the **** adds up

Im actually running the 2nd gen on3 piping on my car but with a comp billet wheel turbo, precision 46mm v band waste gate, and a tial 50mm bov but I will say the piping went together very easily and the upgraded v band clamps seem solid.

Car is quiet on first start up and I dont believe I have any exhaust leaks.

With a stock motor, I would still say stick with a vortech though.

A lot of places. On3 directly or one of their many vendors.
