So my gt was wreck and has been sitting up for about a year now its running but im having issues i changed the oil put fresh gas then check egine light comes on and says cylinder one is misfiring so i changed the spark plug and coil now its off but im still having this poppinf noise from my right exhaust pipe everytime i try to accerlate!
And on top of everything the body throttle cable is loose and wont let me WOT but can someone please help on what to do with this car!!!!

 

Sounds like not all the fuel is being burned and dumping into the exhaust making the backfire. Considering the car sat for a year, you might have to run through that tank you have in and put some good quality gas in it for the next couple of tanks or a fuel system cleaner if you're not getting a CEL anymore.

As for the throttle cable, you may have to replace it. I carb cars, there was an adjustable screw where you could tighten up the plate where the cable attached and that in turn adjusted the tension on the cable, but that was crap from the 80's. t cable replacement (on 80's and earlier crap) wasnt hard at all and the cable was surprisingly cheap.
