let me start by saying I added a new toy to the family , is a 2003 gt with 120k miles , relatively stock as I plan to use it as my daily driver , I am posting the mods on the car and I want you guys to estimate the hp to the wheels base on the mods on the cars , I know i can put it on the dyno to get the exacts number , I just want to see what you guys thinks it's making . mods as follow
jlt cold air intake, 75mm bbk throttle body and plenum, h-pipe , magnaflow cat back exhaust, steeda underdrive pullies and it doesn't count as a bolt on but anyways , 4:10 gears , also 5.0 short throw shifter ,steeda springs and upper and lower control arms. cobra wheels , deep dish rear 315/35/17 nitto 555

 

If i were to guess maybe 230-240whp? Im not a good guesser but there's not many mods

 

I know and i have a good guess to what is making , I just wanted to show the car and check with you guys if you think is making the same power I think is making , my estimate is 258 rwhp , 286 tq .

 

through an auto with an cai, weld in mufflers, canned tune, and a catted midpipe I put down 233rwhp 266rwtq before the blower install. with you having a 5 speed you should have about 5% or so more than that even though every car can vary depending on the history of it.

 

12wheel, 15 if you add a turbonator.

I hope you are right, but I think you are being way too optimistic with a guess of 258rwhp.

Let us know when you get dyno numbers on it. Actually, I'd MUCH rather see 1/4 mile trap speeds.

 

thanks for replying , I called my tuner yesterday and dropped by his house , and he uploaded a tune on the car , he also calibrated my speedometer due to my 4:10 gears , 93 octane tune . my mechanic has a 4v cobra motor laying on his shop so he wants me to drop by and talk about doing a swap , I don't want to add any power adder , no nitrous , no s/c , n/a only .
