I have a 98 gt and faceplate that goes over the radio, ac **** and the cd player is cracked and I'm trying to fix it but I don't know how the hell to get it off everyone says its just clips but it's not because the plastic part that has the lighter and goes over the shift boot jus pops out and isn't very hard to do but this you can pull with some force and it doesn't even budge so can some one tell me how to get this off

 

If you're talking about the radio bezel that goes over the A/C vents and down to the shifter boot, there is a bolt (8 or 10MM I think) behind the radio...you need a six inch or so extension or some strong hands a small ratchet.

 

Oh how far behind the radio is it?
