Default Back in a Mustang.

Well, I had my little romp with Mazda, GM, and a Classic Cougar and I am back in a mustang. Sold my 1970 cougar two days ago and less than 24 hours later I had this sitting in my driveway. 1996 Mustang GT Convertible 5 speed. 146K miles and it drives perfectly. Bone stock except for the Alpine CD player. Needs two new tires and a new top, but after the crap I did to my cougar, that seems like kitten play. Front seats are FUBAR, but I should be able to get them recovered or a better set out of a junk yard. I forgot how much I love these cars.

Maybe sooner than later. Got my *** handed to me by a twin turbo 300zx on the way back from getting tires.

Yeah, I was pretty happy with the paint and body on it. Once I get a new top and some non yellowed headlights it should look pretty good.

Hmm, I like the idea of the supercharger, but they are so danged expensive. Wonder if I could fab up the M90 that I have lying in my garage. Probably not.

Currently not much, but once I get more money, for sure. A new top is first on the to do list. Also, the only speakers working are the tweeters, so I need to figure that one out. Then I will be installing the subwoofer that I took out of my T-bird. All of those are cheap/free.

Future plans include exhaust, lowering springs, some interior details, and some sort of power adder. Be it PI swap, 4V swap, or some sort of FI. I would say different wheels, but of all the GT wheels, I like the ones that are on it the best.

As for the stock audio, I can assure you it's the amps under the rear window. My car was the same way when I got it.
