Back in a Mustang.

And just for giggles, a picture by picture of the cars that I went through.
Had my 96 4V that I sold in July of 2010.
It was replaced right away with the 98 GT full bolt on PI swap. The 98 GT got sold in October 2010 because I HATED it.
I left mustangs all together with an awesome 1 owner 95 F-150. I actually had the silver POS at the same time. Drove the F-150 until august 2011.
I was also rebuilding a 92 thunderbird SC that I got in march 2011 and I took over driving it in October 2011. I did more work to this car than any other. After blowing the BUILT engine TWICE, I set it aside for my next car....
T-bird started life as this:
And finished as this:
After setting aside the t-bird. I got a stellar deal on an 04 Mazda RX8 in January 2012, but high mileage and high costs led me to go back to my t-bird . That was a mistake since I put in a 95 SC engine that was completely out of balance and shook the whole car, so I cut my losses in March of 2012
That led me to a 93 Firebird Formula M6. Drove it for a whole month when I decided that it was like driving a 275HP bathtub. Sold it in April 2012...
And got my 1970 Cougar. It was a fun project, but every time I fixed one problem, two more appeared. Sold it 3 days ago and got the new mustang.

Took her out to the local 1/4 mile tonight. Best of 15.8@87mph with a 2.4 60 on street tires. Track prep was awful and it was HOT out, track temps were over 120*F at first. An 01 GT vert ran a best of 15.5@91 and an 86 fox vert ran a best of 16.1@85. So I beat a fox vert and was just barely beat by a PI vert.
There was a freaking NASTY 95 GT out there that ran a 9.98@97. No, that 97mph is not a typo, he coasted to the end a little ways past the 1/8th mark.
