i am young but everyone talks bout how slow and how much of a waste these cars are and mines quick everyone says a pi swap is like a 2 grand job but some guy said he did his for 500 i mean its just a new head gasket but i know theres more to it and with the economy i can find stage 1 and 2 ported pi heads with aftermarket cams and intake for 200-400 and it seems like a waste not to buy it

Bro your car probably is slow. i have the same car and it wont even get out of its own way lol. I have a PI swap in my bedroom..got the Heads for 190..Intake for 100..and all i lack is a Head swap kit for all the gaskets. but im also doing cams and a few other things. and yea theres more to a PI headswap. you have to take the timing cover off which means timing cover gaskets, intake mani gaskets, exhaust mani gaskets, obviously head gaskets and the PI intake swap kit for the heater hose and nipple thing.

i kno what goes into a swap but with the price for a swap id rather drop a full pi motor in there and slap on a supercharger if i just pin it while its in drive ill spin the tires a good bit but if i put it in first theyll spin all the way up to 5 grand then when i shift to second its spin a little yeah it will get out of its own way

Prob CMS stage 1 or MHS stage 2, theyre pretty much the same cams i think.

EDIT..MHS favor the intake side at 225/223 550/550 110lsa...cms are 224/226 540/550 110lsa

If you say so lol. good idea on swaping in a whole PI motor though, lower compression is better if your going to supercharge it

A full bolt on tuned NPI makes 195ish rear wheel horse, sadly thats slow. In todays world you need 400ish horse just to play the game.
