Default I did it guys!!

Hey everybody, im sure some of you have seen some of my posts about me trying to get a second mustang..so im going to give you a little background info in case you havent...

Last year i was 17 and i couldnt legally take out a car loan, so my dad financed a car for me (a 2010 GT convert) fully loaded, and i agreed to pay him so much a month. Well i just recently turned 18, and wanted some responsibility, and found a great looking 2003 GT...

long story short, i applied yesterday and learned today that i got approved and i get to drive her home tomorrow!

Its a black '03 GT leather interior and only 40k miles and a 5 speed tranny and i got them down slightly to $10,500 (already has CAI, exhaust, short shifter, tint) and it is in very good condition.

Is it the fastest car out there? absolutely not, but it will technically be mine this time, and im very proud to say that ive worked my butt off and will continue to do so in order to have nice things. Ill be so proud of both of the stangs now, and i feel very blessed in order to have an opportunity like this. Any opinions or comments are welcome!

Let the modding begin!!

Congrats man, feels good to have your first real sense of responsibility.. Just make sure to stay on your payments and even pay a little extra to the principle when you have a chance.. Because the feeling is even better when the car is yours and you have the title in your name!... What are you going to do with the 2010? And did you solve your insurance problem?

congrats! Nice of your Dad to help you with the previous car.

When I was 17 I drove a 1981 VW Rabbit diesel with 260,000 miles on it. I called it the birth control car. Nobody was getting laid in it.

Edit: Oh, and pic pic pics

thanks! Keeping the 2010 as a show car by the way.. As for insurance, im "piggy-backing" off of my dad.. he added me to the policy, along with the car and his rates only went up about $300 a month, so i just pay him the difference. Im really really excited for this!

You would have, the % would have just been a whole lot worse. I've heard around 18% for things like that.
