the tq loss at lower rpms is so minimal that i would get them if i were you. Im doing it on my '03 gt pretty soon too. just sounds more open and agressive

Yeah basically a loss of back pressure which is going to make you lose low end torque

should be a minimal loss, maybe 5 ft lb's?

Not sure buti was going to do 3 inch piping but after some research I ended up going 2.5 inches and I love it.

i got 2.5" on my 2010 and it still sounds badass, so youre right. either way im pretty sure youll be happy

You could try running a straight through style muffler (stingers, magnapacks, lm1), but I dont see it getting much louder from just going from 2.5" to 3".
