Smells like another case of buying bolt ons and adding up the horsepower claims from the manufacturers.

God, I hope you wouldn't need all that! 5 years ago in made 320/333 on a mustang dyno with the stock MAF, stock intake and inlet tube. This was before the trickflow heads, etc hit the market. I know there a big difference between 320 & 340 but a 5.9L??

Default BUMP!

So I am looking to tear into the car and can't really find a whole lot of info on ported heads with "Hitech" stage 2 cams.

From what I have gathered you only want to port the intake side "only" and not polish, since the 4.6's seem to like turbulence in the cylinder head and porting the exhaust side is a bad idea with "Hitech" stage 2 n/a cams.

So just looking for some clarifacton on that.

Also I'm looking to upgrade but not sure which brand to go with for valve springs and differant pistons to give me a nice bump in compression.

So final ugrades I am wanting to do are

-port heads (intake side only?)
-24lb injectors
-valve springs
-differant dish of pistons.

What mods do you have that got you to 340rwhp NA???

Sorry for the same question as asked above! Didn't flip page before I responded to his 340 claim.

What A/F ratio are you tuned for?
Cliffy will no doubt tell you that 300rwhp on the 19# injectors are 100% maxed out at WOT and you are risking going lean.

I will actually be having to get the car retuned here soon because it was having some missfire codes ( so I put in some colder plugs and gapped them down) and it also has been having trouble with the front o2 sensors not heating up and already had to put a new set in when it was tuned before.

As for injectors, since it is an 04 it actually came stock with the pink top #21lb injectors...figuring might as well upgrade a bit to the #24lb injectors

Thanks man!

Sounds good, I plan to go to Omaha quite a bit this year for cruises especially the Wednesday night Sonic cruises
