Default iPhone Apps

Hey there,
I just bought a 2002 GT Convertible. It has a factory alarm with the buttons on the key chain. My concern is this is just being held together with electrical tape and the buttons are worn out. Does anybody know where I can replace this? Do I have to go to a Ford dealership? Are there any Iphone apps I can use instead?
Thanks

Sounds like your key fob is pretty screwed up. You can get a new one off of eBay for around $7.00 and program it yourself in less than 60 seconds. I bought one from there about a year ago and it still works great today. It is the 4 button unit with lock, unlock, panic, and truck release.

As far as I know there is no way to use an iPhone to unlock/start your car unless you purchase an aftermarket car alarm like a Viper alarm.
