I will agree burnouts are good for the soul, but they are hard on the differential.

The differential carrier pin takes all the abuse, and if it gets bad enough it will break and your axles will end up walking out of the housing. (problems of a c-clipped axle) I know my carrier has a little slop where the pin goes (just a couple thousandths) , and until I upgrade to a detroit tru-trac I wont be stepping too hard on it.

Like someone said before just make sure your parts are in good condition and you will have no problems.

I know..thus my asking was relevant right? Locks didnt seem to come up in this thread, so figured it was worth mentioning.
