Default First Burnout

Well guys i did my first burnout today! I was fixing to leave school and two of my friends randomly were like "Do a burnout!" I tried to fight it but i couldn't. Darn peer pressure! lol. It was short though. It was only enough to get the wheels to spin for a second. Was kinda scared i might mess something up! Got a few questions though. I know if i do a burnout i will go through tires and brake pads quicker but..... if i just do the occasional burnout that doesn't cause anyone to die of smoke inhalation will that really hurt my motor or anything?

should be fine unless you do them like everyday! i burnt my old nt05s off last summer. have a photo of the tracks left somewhere. was a pretty good length until i got pretty sideways. bone stock 2v can still put some torque down for a nice burnout!

I ran my stock 97 cobra motor when I had it supercharged at 420rwhp, I did hundreads upon hundreads of burnouts in it, 4th gear brake stands to rev limiter bouncing abuse and that motor took it like Debbie does dallas.

Hold it on the rev limiter it sounds cooler. Seriously these cars love abuse.

Stress relief! Just make sure you have the drivetrain tight before side stepping that clutch. takes some of the abuse on the u-joints out.

Might be fun, but it will almost certainly draw a lot of negative attention from adults/authorities...
Pick your time and place appropriately.

Traction control (if you have it) turned 'OFF' You will look stupid if you don't

I remember my first REAL burnout, It was raining, and i thought it would be harmless to do a burnout. so I dropped the clutch and slammed the brake. Spun the tires until I ran out of rain under the wheel...pretty soon my whole car was filled with smoke lol.

Some dude that saw it came up to me and told me his Camry can do a better burnout, not really sure why lol
