Its the only decent one in my area I'm paying cash and I'm sure could talk him down. KBB is over 10k

No one uses KBB so you know. Check NADA, also look at CL. You might be surprised, dealers don't care about you, and you might luck out. He will tell you all you want to hear with cash in hand. Just to get your money.

OK I went to edmunds.com which seems to pretty fairly reflect real world prices (better than NADA or KBB) and trade in the car is worth around $5100, Private Party Sale around $5858, and Dealership $6865. So at $7500 drop them down to $5858 and settle for somewhere in the middle. Key is don't be afraid. Despite their lies Mustangs don't resale very fast in some areas. A lot of people tire kick them but very few legit buyers come along. Show that you have true intrest in buying the the car, but walk away if they won't negotiate.

Jthorn, both of my neighbors sell cars, one at a ford dealer, and the other a smaller establishment. They only use NADA, they aren't going to delineate from that.
I see what you're saying, look at several sites to obtain a good baseline. I've found a lot of dealers in my area tend to ask for more than the book, so when they negotiate, you're still paying book. I even have the NADA app!

Like what problems? The new kits are all sealed & pre-wired ballasts so u dont have the problems of the ballasts going bad like they used to if thats what you have heard.

Depends on how much tint in lenses but no way anything but HIDs would cut thru mine.
