My low buck GT project car I recently bought is coming along almost ahead of schedule. :-)
That is, I've bought more gear for it within the last month than I thought I'd be able to.
(I'm an older guy with 4 kids to feed and clothe!)
So far I got the Quarterhorse install with Binary Editor and Pops racing defs.
And now got the wideband to install. I'll be able to do logging with this baby.
Now I'll be ready to get some injectors and a new MAF installed and tuned to go forward on the "low buck" DIY turbo project.
I say "low buck" but since I bought a car that's actually supported in DIY tuning capability, I've spent about as much already on this gear as I have for complete low buck FMU based turbo builds on other projects.
Don't get me wrong, this is NICE stuff. And I appreciate the technology in it so I can do it right! :-)
I still plan on defying the nay-sayers by doing a single front mount turbo with the STOCK k-member.
It wont be anything crazy, but it will be a nice daily driver "sleeper" to have fun with.
