My 96 gt convertable has an aftermarket key fob so I figured the previous owner got it to work with the factory system. I bought a ford key fob off eBay and went to programs it but there is no open connector in the trunk on the driver side. It's it posible I never had factory keyless entry.

 

You don't have a factory key fob, as in it looks nothing like the factory black square one? They may have an aftermarket alarm system.

 

Yeah it looks nothing like the factory one I bought I don't see the control module for an aftermarket one tho
