Default FYI..Vert rear shocks

I did the research before installing new rear shocks on the '02 GT Vert. Very few mentioned convertibles but they did say the rear seat had to be removed.

I found out during install that access to the top mount was not thru the back seat as I had read in numerous locations. Access is thru the trunk, remove the floor liner, the liner on the front area and the mounts are behind the front corner of the side trunk liners. Easy once you get there. Also, be sure to support the rear axle if the car is on a frame lift.

I did find out I needed new rear seat latches and made 50¢ during the vacuum job under the seat.

The rear shocks were shot so there is a big difference in the ride now.
