Default Viper alarm disabled ,theft light blinking code 12

Ok so I had a Hayabusa that I trade for this mustang .bad trade I feel like need kicked in the head. Now the viper alarm was on it but it started to try and start itself one day while I was working on it so I took it out. The car started up and ran. Well I have a job that has me out on the road for weeks on end so the car sits. I wanted to sell it but I lost the key, ( actually my kid lost the key, so being the smart, 🙄 guy that I thought I was decided to drill out the ignition lock and had no idea that the car has the pats theft system. But I didnt hurt nothing and when the Amazon key and lock came in the mail installed it and now the theft light is blinking with a crank but no start. The trans ponder is glued to the ignition but the factory key fob is not working. Is there any sort of fix other than sticking my hand in the fire place and taking this POS to the dealer where there more than likely going to give me a good joshing for a lack of a better word. Please tell me that it's not that big of deal and that i actually have some hope ....

So you jumped in head first in working on a cars alarm and ignition system that you know nothing about and now it's the cars fault?

Anyways, in order to program a new transponder you need to do one of two things.
1) have two sets of working keys/transponders that are already programmed to the car and work - That's not an option
2) Go to the dealer and have them program it for you
2a) Contact a reputable locksmith and let them know you have a new key/transponder but no existing key's/transponders. They should know how that works as well.
I would try this route first. You won't have to have the car towed and it should cost less. I say should because the locksmith will know you are over a barrel.
