Default Question from engine swap

I have a 96 mustang gt and swapping in a 04 grand marquis motor. I got most accessories swapped but am curious if I also need to swap the water pump and oil pick up tube. I have asked around and havent gotten any answers. Please help

Humm I don't remember but those items are really easy to change once the engine is swapped over. I know the 96 body styles engine bay are a tad bit larger than my 01 style

oil pump pickup tube isnt an easy swap once the motor is in the car, and there is no difference in engine bay size from 96-04

i believe the <01 years had a different length water pump then the 01.5+ cars, it would be safe to swap the old water pump and I would also swap oil pan and pickup
