RE: Anyone had dyno before & after LT headers install
I got +39 RWHP after installing the following parts:
C&L CAI
Brenspeed tune (93 octane)
Dynatech longtubes with high-flow cats & X-pipe
Borla Catback
I do not know what parts were responsible for what HP since I changed everything at once. I also want to mention that while the tests were done on the same dyno, they were not on the same day. So, the HP numbers could be off a bit one way or the other due to changes in ambient conditions between the two days.
Anyway, most people report that the C&L+tune combo is good for about 25 HP, as is confirmed by the test at 5.0 Mustangs & Super Fords magazine. Personally, I think that is a "best case" number. Anyway, if we assume the Tune+CAI was worth 20-25 HP, that means that I got an additional +14-19 HP at the wheels from the headers/Xpipe.
Keep in mind that this was with High-flow cats. The same install with the offroad Xpipe is going to be worth more HP.

I think 30 HP is a bit much to expect from headers and exhaust on these cars.
I would still like to see someone that has dynoed at 330rwhp NA and their list of mods and what each one contributed in general.

I'm getting a solid 305 RWHP with the above mods. I'm running a tune from Brent, but it is NOT a custom Dyno tune.
If you figure UDPs are worth 5-10, CMCP delete is another 10 or so, and perhaps an offroad pipe is worth a few more (5?) than high-flow cats, one could be looking in the range of 320-330 RWHP with that package, composed entirely of relatively simple bolt-ons, especially with a custom dyno tune.
5.0 Mustang & Super Fords claims 321 HP after installing the CMCP delete kit on a car already equipped with "JBA headers and exhaust, along with underdrive pulleys". They didn't say what kind of headers were on there (LT or shorty) or if the test car had any other mods, but I'm willing to bet that it also had a tune and probably a CAI as well.

I would say that is about right. I think 25-30 at the tires is on the money based on different reading I have done.

Brenspeeds 93 tune
C&L Intake
2 chamber Flows
O/R H-Pipe
Pullies
Water Pump
3.73's
Also, 18 x 9" rims with 285's on the rear to add a little rotating mass.

Haven't dynoed it yet, but before a Dynatech L/T setup and the U/D pullies, I pulled 305 and 333 tq on a mustang dyno. I hope to get it on the dyno soon to see where I am at now.
