Default Forged Internals.

Just wondering if anyone has experience with buying forged internals for their 05+ GT. Whose got the best quality, prices, etc. I'm planning on TONS of boost in the future, and I want to do it right (this time, lol).

Price and qaulity aren't always with the same product...lol

The best piston choice (and most expensive BTW) seems to be the JE ceramic coated pistons.

The best rods of choice seem to be the Manly or Eagle

The best crank of choice is hands down the cobra

If you plan on supporting a lot of mods, then you'll also need to look into the valve train. Specifically, valves, springs, & seats.

So many views and so little replys. [&o] Anyway, I checked around and the only forged rotating assembly I could find for my car was from Sean Hyland. I'm not saying anything bad about him, because I have no personal experience, but from reading through threads on several mustang boards, I'm noticing a trend that many people think his customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Anyone have good experiences to report? How about other sources for a forged rotating assembly?

Livernois Motorsports also offers a kit that includes all the things you'd need to beef up your bottom end. http://www.livernoismotorsports.com/...ing+Assemblies

http://www.boss330racing.com/Default.aspx?tabid=160 This link works for me but the site is messed up I think...But i believe there are some guys on this board who have some of there products on/in their cars....

D.S.S. is top notch, pretty much what everone I know has gone with...but keep in mind, there are mass productin builders like D.S.S. and Coast High Performance and then there are more custom builder like Kim Bare Racing (out of Dallas)...Kim Bare sits down with you talks to you about what you want, builds it, dyno's the motor for you and breaks it in.

D.S.S. has a layaway program...pretty cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice links - thanks...

Though it may not seem that way if you are starting now - WOW! have things gotten cheap on an inflation adjusted basis...

best rod out there for a mod motor has got to be the oliver I beam followed by the manley Billet I beam, then maybe the manley H beam, then eagles.

As far as pistons go CP is the no.1 piston choice.
