Default Kenne Bell 2.6L

So, what all do we know about the new 2.6L unit? What's the best price you've seen for the 8PSI intercooled setup?

Comments?

first, you can only purchase Kenne Bell Super Chargers from kenne bell only. they sell factory direct-so no middlemen. also their pricesheet online is not correct for the 8 psi intercooled model. since it's now the 2.6 instead of the 2.4, the price went up about $200 and expect to pay extra big bucks to get the polished model--i just got the black one. i felt the 600 bucks could be spent better elsewhere. also going to have to add that it makes the stang haul a$$ and you wont be dissappointed

it appears that they sell it as long as they get to install it. appears to me that they are purchasing the kit as a private individual and then selling to whoever will let them install it. i will say that the tech at KB told me that only they sell what they make and there are no "dealers" or middlemen you can purchase it from elsewhere. knowing that, i wouldnt buy from that link above or brentspeed. face it, you're going to spend around 6k and plus or minus a nickel at this point isnt worth the trouble. BTW, was that a refurbished kit on the link above??

brenspeed is offering the KB with their installation, so I see what you mean. Of course, I don't trust myself to do the install on something like that plus I'd want a custom tune, so it kind of goes hand in hand for someone like me. I didn't notice a markup by brenspeed on the KB vs the price on the KB site, so in a case like mine, I'm not losing anything apparently.

If you're doing the install yourself, then it wouldn't hurt to get it directly from KB I'm sure.

Its Brenspeed not Brent-speed, Brent just works there. I'm sure he is a great tuner, but you guys are giving him the whole company... Not attacking you personally, just see alot of people call it brentspeed... [sm=headbang.gif][sm=bangbang.gif][sm=gobble.gif][sm=icon_flaming.gif][sm=icon_stickpoke.gif]
