Yeah I remembered how big of a moron I was at about 4am today... I thought to myself, "Wow, did I just try to talk about an 02 cobra... I really am a moron"... But I didn't care, because I had the best day ever talking to my friend who owns a 2000 v6... I hear him say "Yeah, I'm pretty sure I could do low 12's in the quarter" I stared blankly at him, he's bonestock... Then he proceded to tell a story about how he hung with a SS 'maro last weekend. I didn't even bother saying anything, wasn't worth the breath.

BUT they did build a 02 Cobra.............
99-01 was such a flop they shipped out 01 cars to Aussie land with 02 VIN 'S !!!!
I tried to stick it out with our 03 and 01 cobra's. But kicked them to the curb for the 07 GT.................

2002 Cobra NOTE: Officially, there were no 2002 Cobras produced in the US, but Ford's sales data shows 100 4-valve Cobras shipped to Australia as a special export batch in early '02. SVT has stated that they do not count these numbers in their totals but they were labeled as 2002 Models from Ford. These cars were exactly the same as the '01's except were made especially for Australia's standards (right hand drive, extra lights, etc.).

ProStang, that's an interesting part of the SVT Cobra history. Even if officialy there are no 02 Cobras, just with the VIN being 02 and only 100 produced, makes those cars extremelly rare and immediate collectors. Don't you think?

Rare does not it make it worth more........
My 01 Cobra was 1 of 330 made in that color combo. Only 3800 somthing Coupes where made that year also.
Had a hell of a time selling our car !!
What the market will bare..........
