Trouble w/ 3rd gear in '07 GT
Hey guys,
I got my '07 Gt about a month ago(can't figure out how to post pics). Occasionally I have troube getting the car into 3rd gear. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries. Will the shifting smooth out over time or is this something I should see the dealer about?

well if you really get on it and bring the rpm's up to say 4500-5000 (in second)
and then try shifting to 3rd, it's tough for me as well. I have 2000 miles on
my baby and it hasn't gotten any easier.....
This is with the stock shift kit....

This is caused by the transmission binding at high rpm. This problem is because the shifter is bolted to the chassis and not to the transmission. They are two ways around it. Either get better engine/transmission points (polyurethane) or do like I did and get the K-member brace with torque limiters both will fix it completely. The difference is one will just damage completely your ride experience from all the shaking at idle and the other will not. Here is mo info:

Normal driving no, but I have had the trans bind on me a couple of times racing. Either get either of the mods or just throw the shifter a tad more to the right like almost hitting 5th.
