Default 2006 GT vs. S2000?

My friend is getting an S2000 soon and has already challenged me (on a track of course). I know he would destroy me on AutoX but I'm pretty sure I got him in a straight line. Does any1 know or had any1 experienced this drag??? (Both cars bone stock)

I forget what they run but im pretty sure he has the power, only because he weighs less. And his car revs to about 10,800rpm.

edit: good driver should run about a 14 flat in an s2000

You'll take him easy. S2000 are good for low 14s with a good driver, you're good for mid-high 13s. Plus the S2000 is harder to keep in its powerband. My mom has one and while it handles like a slot-car, it's noticably slower in a straight line, plus all of its power is up in vtec at high rpms.

I have an S2000(not stock of course), and stock it'll be no problem. It's possible with a great driver to get 13.8, but the rear ends in these are very weak and are prone to breaking whilst launching even stock. It's not a drag car, and it shouldn't be used as such.

That car you have to keep it reved up, it has ABSOLUTELY NO torque in the low rpm range; it is all vtec which means only has power in the last 2-3k rpm. It has 240hp and weights around 2.8k. Depends on which type of course, if the course has some decent straightaways between corners then you can take him, on a straight line that car has nothing to look going vs a Gt.
