RE: New to this...
I'm usually between 20-21 mpg, but I haven't been on any long trips yet. My drive to work and back home is 80 miles round trip(about 3/5 highway, 2/5 city driving). But on the bright side, I carpool so its only every other week that I have to drive. If I time all the lights right and don't get stuck in any traffic I've managed about 24mpg for 1 full tank.

I haven't checked city mileage but got 22.72 MPG on a recent trip with a lot of WOT and 80 to 90 cruising. So I would guess city would be about the same if I would go easy. I did the calculations. The computer only shows what you will get if you continue at the present pace... it changes constantly.

I've gotten 25mpg doing 80mpg down I-69. had just my drivers side window open. I'm not 100% sure, but i believe there is a switch between winter blend and summer blend gas, and i always drop a few mpg's on winter...and now that its cold out, i let it run about 3-5 minutes every morning before taking off. so that doesn't help much either.

I have an automatic. According to the computer, when driving 55 - 60 mph (100% highway) I would usually get about 24-26 mpg, typically 25 mpg (once it returned 27 mpg, but that's uncommon). With a 93 octane tune I got a little better gas mileage, maybe 26 mpg.
After installing my Steeda intake my gas mileage went down. Now driving 55 - 60 mpg gets about 23 - 25 mph, on average about 24 mpg.
I don't do a lot of city driving, but when I do I usually average around 19 mpg (20 mpg at the best, but that's unusual), average speed on these trips is usually around 30 - 35 mph, lots and lots of lights.
The computer is pretty accurate at least for me. As for the real numbers, this month I went 331 miles on 15.2 gallons, average speed was 32 mph, that's about 22 mpg.

If you got to be cheap on gas, I would say get a import. FWD light and 4 cylinder low emissions veicle. 30 and above gas mileageLuckily you dont care bout gas so get the V8. Thing sux the gas but damn its fun to drive by the ricers...
