sallen pullie
The stock pulley is 4" which is 3.5lbs. Next pulley size is 3.8" which is 5.5lb. If you are going to go through the trouble to change the pulley, change the belt, and retune the car, I would suggest at minimum going to with the 3.6" 7.5lb pulley. There is not going to be enough of a difference between the stock pulley and the 5.5lb pulley for you to really notice other than dyno numbers. Certainly doesn't justify the money spent on the 3.8" pulley. I have a 3.6" pulley laying around that I would sell you. BUT... I am out of the country right now on business and won't be back until Thanksgiving.
If it were me, I would go with minimum the 3.6" 7.5lb or the 3.4" 9.5lb pulley as the next step. You can run 9.5lbs on a stock bottom end with no worries. Just make sure whoever tunes your car knows what they are doing.

I'm running the 3.2 pulley. I did experience some slight pinging between 5500 and 6000. The problem seemed to be the fact that I was running the stock exhaust. Once I put the header on, the boost dropped a pound or so, and pinging seems to have disapeared. But what hawgman said is very true. Don't even waste your money or time just droping on size. You won't even notice the difference.
