Default CAI Tunable Induction

Has anyone installed De Molet's CAI system and used the SCT tunes that are provided with the system? Was it easy to install? How about the tunes? Any problems?
Thx

+1. John is a great guy to deal with and the kit was a very easy install. I'm running the 93 octane tune and it really wakes the car up.

I just installed cai tunable induction and brenspeed tune ....
only problem with tunable induction was my maf sensor wouldn't fit to the intake, so I had to grind off little bit off to fit.(less then 30sec)
and heat shield for cold air intake touches underhood cover..
Everything else perfect fit, it looks very nice
Installing tune was very easy compare to installing the cai tunable induction .
first drive with 87 tune,,, wow I noticed instant throttle
turn off traction control and WOT from dig , couldn't get traction from 1st gear to 2nd gear
never had problem with traction w/ factory tune from dig .

Congrats man. You will love the 93 tune. These kits really help wake up our cars. Now if you like me you're thinking about what to do next. It's very addictive.

I just installed my TI CAI from Demolet and had the same problems. MAF sensor was easily solved. Did you do anything about the heat shield hitting hood? Do you think it can do any damage if left? Thanks for the heads up on the install. I knew what to do when I installed mine.

Ansky in my case it's not the heat sheild that hits the hood. I looked really carefully and I didn't see any clearance issues there. Where I do hit the hood is with the center of the rubber elbow. If you put a white chauck line down the cender you'll see about a 2" round spot that contacts the insulation. John said that was perfectly okay and I haven't had any problems.

I left mine like that, I checked few times
it looks not bad on foam cover, just little bit went in.
91 octane tune rocks , I am having so much fun with my car getting under 14mpg [sm=Awwww.gif]
I used to hate my car , because of the throttle lag, was thinking about selling the car.
