Default BLOWER OR NO BLOWER

I own a 2006 automatic GT. I know what you are about to hear is a little crazy but hear me out. I have a friend who is offering me a procharger at an awesome price. About 2-3 thousand dollars under retail price. I love speed like the next person but the reality is my car is not only a daily driver, it is a take the kids to school, do groceries, etc. So my question is, will my car be in the shop every other week or are these superchargers relaible enough for the everyday grind?????

Superchargers like the procharger are very reliable if you set them up properly. It's not difficult. Keep your boost settings sane and make sure you've got a proper tune and your fuel system is up to snuff, and then you're A-OK, even for a daily driver.

You may be able to get a good deal on the centri S/C that is hard to pass up. But there always more things to upgrade along with it. What ever you deside to do, do it all the way. If your thinking power for "cheap" what ever you do don't cut corners on fuel supply and tuning. If you have a weak spot in your set-up it will show up quickly.

This kit will be complete with injectors, upgraded fuel pump, and the car will be taken to Diablo Sport for the tune.

Have you ever seen the RPM advertising in the magazines? They Have a picture of a Ford Lightning and a 2005 Mustang doing a burn out. The procharger came out of that car, and I don't think you can beat the price. ($2,000.00) Plus whatever Diablo Sport charges me for the Tune.

Old Chinese saying - "you get what you pay for." ProChargers are notorious oil leakers. Make sure you're not buying a lemon.

Joa1072 - Don't do it unless you want to turn your car into an arsekicking , fun SOB to drive that will act like a mild mannered minivan when you take the kids to school. Then when somebody pulls up next to you at a light, you want 400 plus horsepower to smackdown with - No I wouldn't want that- LOL! Oh, you will replace rear tires more frequently
DO IT MAN - DO IT RIGHT NOW OR LET ONE OF THESE OTHER GUYS DO IT!
