Thanks Guys, I will try again tomorrow and try it on cement and again on Asphalt and see what Happens. Maybe the 18" tires just hook up better then the older style Godd Year Gatorbacks. But I will Let you know what happens.

The Gatorbacks were definitely shorter but softer tread compound, but 4000 rpms, damn, that should roast the tires. Did you feel any indication of wheelhop. When I did it I didn't have wheelhop but there was a very very slight feel that it was starting to happen. Keep us posted.

put 4.30s on it and bounce it off the rev limiter or put metro tires on it. . but seriously it should of laid rubber quite aways maybe not smoke but peeled out haha.

I can burn my stock tire way to easy.. I don't even need to drop the clutch. I can just stand on the gas while rolling and the tires will roast..

did you stay on the gas when you dumped the clutch or did u just let off a bit expecting it to keep up the revs a little bit and just burn em?

Did you dump the clutch, then keep your foot in it? Maybe you initially broke loose, then hit the rev limiter... that would cause the engine to momentarily cut out and in effect end your burnout...

lol is there an echo in here? haha j/k.............yes thats also a very good point you bring up; hitting the rev limiter will sure kill a burnout; it'll fall flat. never thought of that.

So far I think all of you guys had sticks. I have an auto. From a dig I just punch it to the floor and she burns for about 10 or 15 feet no problem. It'll chirp on the first upshift. I'd love to race a stick. I have a Granatelli CAI and no tune thats all for performance mods.
