Default 89 OCTANE GAS

DOES EVERYONE ACTUALLY USE 87 OCTANE IN THE STOCK GT, CAN U USE 89 AND IS THERE A BENIFIT OR CAN IT CAUSE DAMAGE? THANKS!

Had to use 89 on a couple of times, since the 87 was out and I was on E..poor planning on my part. But did not notice any differenceand Stang still runs fine.
