LEAVING THE GT STOCK

RE: LEAVING THE GT STOCK
A serious drug addiction might even be cheaper, but could get you in more trouble.
My addictions include:
Car (Has to go fast and look good doing it.)
Computer (Mine ain't overclocked that much but I do build my own)
Firearms (Always need a lighter trigger pull, custom stock etc.)
That's just the main ones.

If I didn't hate ricers, hicks oops i mean chevies or crap... damnit I mean mopar then I would leave it stock. I just like to have a few extra ponies under my hood when I have to put one of those things back to where they belong.

RE: LEAVING THE GT STOCK
The Mustang GT is a car just asking to be tinkered with. It has a low price, and a massive aftermarket, and solid performance out of the box.
Now a more expensive car I would probably leave just the way it is. If I ever bought something like a Z06 or something more expensive, I would just leave well enough alone. Even the GT500 I probably wouldn't go any farther than a CAI and tune.
But my Mustang GT....I have huge plans for her.

I think the whole point of getting a 'stang is to dress it up your way. Personally, I think long and hard before committing to a change. The change must result in an improvement of some kind. The vast majority of what they put into a modern S197 is pretty damned good already.

Its a great looking car and for some of us...we like to do some changes in appearance to personalize it to the way we like it. For others who like performance, well, they do their thing and all is good.
