I want to get a cai, when my order comes in. which one is the best. Ive been thinking of the c & l with a tune. How much of a difference will it make if I keep using 87 octane instead of upgrading to 93, cause I hate paying more for gas.

C&L and JLTII are both good. Please use the search funciton, people on here don't take to kindly to repeated quesitons. That subject had been covered sooo many times!!!

Yep C&L or JLT and make sure you get a custom or dyno tune! No canned tune will due you any justice.

1-Huge difference betweenan 87 octane tune/CAI and the stock tune/intake.
2-Noticeable difference between a 93 octane tune/CAI and an 87 octane tune/CAI(But not as big as the difference in 1).

Don't be a nancy for gawd sake. The price difference is going to be what... MAYBE 2 to 3 bucks a tank? And that's strictly assuming that 93 is going to be 20 or so cents higher than 87. If 3 bucks a tank is going to break you, trade the car in RIGHT NOW. I have heard that a Prius gets good mileage. Maybe more your style.


As for what CAI is the best. I guarentee you that when people answer they tell you which ever one they bought is the best one. Reguardless of which one that may be. So kinda take that for what it's worth. My point is, with the right tuning they are all basically the same.
