Default newbie question: pulleys, cams, gear install

Greetings from a humble pony newbie -

( I SFTA and couldn't find it. Apologies I was just too dumb! )

What are rough labor time (and/or costs) for installing pulleys, cams, and 4.10 gears?

5 hours total for a good shop?

This is for a new (to me) 05 GT 'vert (manual transmission).

Thanks very much!

Chris

Gears: about 2-3 hours if they do it right the first time. It could take a little longer if they have to do it a few times to get the proper pattern.

Pulleys: less than 1 hour.

Cams: 12-15 hours.

Thanks much! Really appreciate that info!

I'm used to euro car mod pricing - so this is a "bargain" by comparison.

Shop around and ask them how many times have they donea cam(CAMS) swap on a 3V mustang, or how many times have a swapped out 8.8 rear end gears. If they've done it alot and you know they are telling the truth, then go with them. If they say never or a few times, keep shopping. You want this to be done one time only and no one ripping you off for something they messed up.
CrazyAl posted the right hours it would take. Pricing though..
Gears- probably around 200-400 bucks if you supply the gears, hopefully it's not higher, then they suck and you might have to pay it.
CAMS- i've seen it go from 500-900 bucks for someone to swap them.
Pulleys,- you could do yourself but probably around 60-80 bucks.
Just make sure to shop around and know their background.

If you do cams and pullies at the same time there should be no extra labor involved because they need to come off anyway.

Thoughts on cams+install not being worth it when you could just go FI?

700 for Cams(stage 3)and say 900 for install = 1600 bucksfor 30rwhp. Roush SC 5000 bucks and 800 bucks for install =5800 bucks
