Hey whats up? This might be a hard one... Does anyone know what the stock compression on a 06 mustang gt is.. AND does anyone know what the piston dish is? Thanks for any help that is given.

 

here's a helpful list of stuff i've compiled so far. i think most of it is accurate...
piston clearance height=.008-.010
head gasket thickness=.033
combustion chamber volume=51.1cc
piston dish= 6cc
bore=90.2mm
stroke=90mm
deck height=8.937"
comp. distance= 1.22"
rod length=5.9331"
compression=9.6:1

 

According to Road&Track compression on an 05 is 9.8:1. I'd assume it's the same for an 06

 

i've read that too. i didn't know which to go with so i went conservative.

 

I'm 99.9% sure it is 9.6:1 cause in the september 05 mm&ff there is a article called "All in the name of speed" Were the JMS crew took a 05 and threw forged internals in and bumped the compression up 2/10 putting it at 9.8:1 ran 6.47 @116 with nitrous and bolt ons. I always wondered how much nitrous they use to bad they don't say.lol I hope this helps.
