What do you think of this?

I think it kind of brings out the crackly sound the MACs already have; doesn't sound too bad...

Compared to the previous generation of Mustang, all S197 axlebacks sound bad.

I think it sounds pretty good.........

Does it still have the drone at about 18-2000rpm?

I've been thinking of taking those down and redoing the Mac+Bassani+BBK video, as the 3 videosjust don't do the sound justice (turning up your bass a bit helps though). Personally, I think the sound in personis great, and I've had several folks duplicate the exhaust setup because they want the exactsound. But as you see here from the few responses, some like it, some hate it.

The drone was diminished quite a bit after adding the shorties, but it's still there, especially when cold. I don't drive it daily so it's not a nuisance anyhow. FWIW, I took a passenger on a 4 hour ride today, and not one complaint...

remove the cats and the S197 sounds mean as hell.

the sound isn't quite as smooth as the previous gens, but that's ok to me, sounds old school.

The reason I posted this is that it seems like all the long tube header companies only make x-pipes to match with their headers, and I'd rather not modify an incorrect h-pipe to fit. Also looking for that NASCAR sound in the high revs.
