Which is the best for everyday performance. Should I go with SuperChip or should I go with a program Tuner like SCT etc.?? I have a SCT tuner and presently running tunes from both Brenspeed and BamaChip. I do like the results, but recently rode in another GT with a superchip, and it seems more responsive. Not to mention that the dealership accepts using the superchip and not the tuner. Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thank you for your reply Howarmat. My son sent me a Jet performance powerchip for an early Father's day present, for he did not know that I had already was running a SCT tuner. So, that is why I am asking the question. Is the powerchip a better performance add on, or is the tuner a better performance add on. Idid a little research as well with my local Ford Dealership, and their answer was to go with the superchip. They claim that the superchip will not void my warranty, and they actually claim that when I purchased my Mustang GT, If I would have mentioned I wanted to add some performance products to the car that they would recommend the superchip and would have also intstalled it at the time of purchase. They really hate the Tuner idea. They claim that it is at the top of the list for problems during warranty. But, they are the dealer and we all know that they are not always on the up and up, and of course they would love to charge me triple for the part as well as shop costs.
Anyway, can anyone tell me the difference in the two, and the pro's and con's with the two?
I am not having any problems with my SCT tuner, but since I have the choice now between running either one, I thought I would do some research and see what the difference was.

Both are decent products. Until you get your car on a Dyno and get your SCT tuner dialed in for your car, Your just running a generic tune. So to say. Thats why it's called a tuner.

You should see more gains and far more adjustability with the tuner. You can adjust for different gears, tire size, o/r pipe, etc....with the chip i do not know if that is possible.

So I think that I understand things a little better now. I should stay with running my SCT Tuner, but to get the best out of my car, I still need to dial in by having it put on the dyno. Is this correct? If so, that is where I will go next.
