I have 18 x 10s and I wish I had traction. I spun so much at the track last weekend I almost hit the wall. Let me tell you there nothing worse then having to hit your brakes when doing a 1/4 race.

With my stock 235`s i dont chirp goin into 2nd i spin them for a while. goin into third i chirp
I punched it goin into second. my friend says when i shift it smokes up the tires and leave like 3 foot lines down

I am a manual, but I spin pretty hard on my 1-2 shift. Enough that I have to actively keep the rear end under control, and I get a good chirp on the 2-3 shift.
However, it is hard to get my tires to spin from a slowroll at 5 to 10 mph, BUT.....If I do a drop clutch start at only 1500-1750 rpm I will spin really bad. So obviously I have the low end torque, but from a roll it really doesn't show it.
I think it still has to do with the throttle-by-wire. I know tuners compensate for that, but it still exists. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

My friend has brenspeeds tune and he chirps 3rd not problem unless his transmition temp got hot.. nothing more than a tune..and hs car is auto too..
I however have no problem chirping 3rd every single second ...I also chirped 4th.. but its a small squeeq sound.. see this video Im tungstenizer GT.

If you're car is modded enough to run 12's... I suspect you should be chirping at least to third... I don't know how anyone could do it stock, unless their tires are about to need replacement
